Is it normal for lube/oil to be coming out of front neck of bike. 2008 Softail Heritage. i asked the stealer and he told me t was normal because it was new. it is like grease.

It is not normal, but they all do it, already in the showroom they start marking their territory. If it was a Jap bike, we would make the dealer fix it. Now it is a Harley, we smile and wipe it. That's love...

You will also see it after every service when the regrease the front end!

 

Hmmm... Where do you think neck bearing grease will go once it seeps out of the cups ?

Of course it will leak out.

 

mine seeped at first and was worse later when the head bearings needed adjusted.

 

It has been mid 90s every day, and I like to ride!

I did not have it with my Fat Bob. Maybe it was bone dry...
