Default 09' Rocker Question

Can anyone inform us if there is another option for the wheels for the Rocker. Not the Rocker C. For example black 5 spoke or even chrome. Really prefer the Rocker over the Rocker C, but just don't not to much for the wheels. Any help, please!?!?!

Some Dealerships are willing to do custom work for you, I went to a dealership that was working on a 08 Rocker, blacking out most of the parts to charge more for it.

Can probably order Rocker-C wheels,,,not chrome but they are polished(probably very expensive),,or have Rocker wheels powder coated black. You can buy aftermarket,,,just have to look around but from what I heard most rear rims are 8.5" as apposed to HD's 8",,but with correct spacers will work. PM "orthodoc", he has aftertmarket wheels and can probably give you more info.

Go with powder coating what you have. You can select the color, gloss level and texture so you don't have to have the same thing the next guy has. Individuality is the way to go!! Besides that, you won't have your stock parts laying around collecting dust.

powdercoating may be the way to go, i have tried for three months to find ANYBODY that will chrome the rocker wheels and not a soul will do it.
im pretty sure the 8.5" will work if you go aftermarket

I'm not an expert on powdercoating, do you know if the wheels will have to sandblasted to bare metal or can it be done over the Rockers original coating. Also, can the powdercoating be matched and textured to the look of the Denim Black.

I replied to your PM, but will also answer here for the benefit of the other readers. Any powder coater that warrantee's their work should completely remove any old finish before starting the process. If there are any contaminants under the old finish they could/would cause defects in the apearance as well as premature failure of the new finish.

There is a powder coat that exactly matches the Harley Denim Black... I use it often. There is also a black that matches the stock HD handlebar switch housings, stock HD frame, Vivid Black paint and black texture used on the engine.
