Default '94 nostalgia

i have a new starter and new battery, when i go to turn on the bike all i get is a click. can any one help?

Are you sure the battery is charged. New batteries often need to be charged. That would be my first thing to check. You could also put a volt meter on the battery when trying to start. Should be a strong 12.5 volts. If it goes lower it needs to be charged.

You also might want to check all of the battery connections for corrosion and check all of your ground connections for same.

I had the same problem and it ended up that I had gotten a bad battery when I bought my new one.

thanks for the replys guys, ill have to check that.. but when this is happening, i use a rubber mallet to hit my starter and it kkicks over no problem. any other reasons?
