Has bike been lowered

I have 2000 heritage that I got used.How can I tell if it has been lowered? What is done when the bike is lowered?

What is the measurement of your frame front and rear from the road surface?

On the rear, the shocks might have an extension on them to help lower that end.

From what I can find an 2000 H-D® FLSTC Heritage Softail® Classic ground clearance is 5.47 inches. Front spring and dampers can be modified as well as the back shocks to change the height.
