Default all you low ridding rockers

i want to drop the rear of my rocker. what are you guys using and how much did you lower. the progressive 442 seem to be popular. is it true you need a press for the install.
thanks for the help making up my mind.. tags

i used the Burnout cycles kit, $100 works great, fairly easy to install. I am thinking about getting 422's though

I used the Arlen Ness part# 17-100. It was fairly easy to install. Yes, you will need press or if you can improvise you can use a car jack. You will need to take the shocks off the bike and disassemble them. You will then need to replace the stock shaft with the Arlen Ness shaft (the kit comes with instructions). I also adjust the preload on the shocks after I installed the lowering kit. You will need a spanner wrench (very cheap) to do this. I would suggest adjusting the pre-load while the shocks are mounted on the bike, then you can sit on the bike to test your weight. You can see a pic of my bike in my signature. It still rides good.
