Default Rider backrest and pad for an '06 Deluxe

Just priced the Springer seat with rail and tall back rest pad on ebay and buying the two are pretty pricey since the parts are now discontinued. Don't really care for the Mustang solo seat and backrest option. Are there any others. I did look at Firehouse Customs. Thanks.

The Springer seat with rail is so much more comfortable and nicer looking than the stock deluxe seat!!

I went and got the short backrest....but I don't find myself using it all that often!! You might not need the backrest!!

Take a look at the Saddleman seats. Met a guy last year who had done over 30k miles on one and loved it. They sit down deep and the back of the seat works like a back rest.

That's the thing. I like my seat just fine. Have spent all day in the saddle without complaint. Just would like to add a backrest. But investigating it, looks like those that have them have swapped out the Deluxe seat for a Springer with the double rail and added the backrest and since those are discontinued parts, they cost a premium and I was hoping there might be another alternative out there, but I'm thinking not at this point. Not that keeps the nostaligic look anyway.
