Avon makes tires in that size... available everywhere.

I went with the Metzeler 210-50-17...a tight fit but a better tire IMO than the Dunlop...got mine off of eBay.

The wider Mezeler tire is supposed to be a much better, 'stickier' tire, but the down side is that being stickier it doesn't last as long.
If you like to push the envelope in the twisties then the Metzeler may be your best bet. If your looking for long distance mileage, then stick with the Dunlop.
I don't know of anyone who's tried the Avon for any lenght of time yet so there isn't a lot of info on how it handles or how long it will last on a Softail.

i had a 210 mezeler on my night train and it was stickey handled nice but only lasted 5000 miles. the old stye stock dunlop it came it was good for 5000 miles as well. now im running the new tread pattern dunlop that i have just over 2000 miles on thats seems to be holding up much better then the mezeler.

That wouldn't be the Elite III would it? I just picked up an Elite III for the front and a Dunlop SE180 rear for my Deuce. The Metzler 880s would have been my first choice but they didn't have a 180 17" rear. I found out after I ordered the Dunlops that they do make a 170 that would have worked. Now I'm wondering if the Elite III is the better tire overall anyways. I do ride aggressive at times in the twisties.
