Default V&H Fuel Pak vs PCIII

OK, so I'm haveing my V&H BR 2into2 installed in a week. I have th V&H fuel pak being installed as well. Should I be looking at the PCIII instead? What are the differences? I'm also having the SE Ac installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

well, IMHO the fuel pak works good if you're they guy putting it on and you're just doing an exhaust upgrade and have no experience tuning. The PC3 is a better tuner and has alot more tuning features but you should get familiar with how it works before you fool with it.
If you plan on doing engine work, spring for the PC3, money well spent.

Good deal off eBay. I like to post good deals I have got for my bike..

i went on eBay and contacted a seller and got my PCIII for around $280, with a map for my bike and no issues installing or running. Cyclesolutions is ebay name and everyone I know that has bought from them has never had an issue. Good price, plus free map and coupon for free Dyno at one of the big rallies they attend. Cant beat the deal. Email them if you have any questions. I also got my air intake a lot cheaper through them also.

FuelMoto.com is the way to go for a PCIII. Recently received my unit and and installed it this weekend. Easy installation an my bike purrs like a kitten.
$288 with shipping and free mapping. Comes with software and usb cable to tweek yourself if you are adventurous. Not to mention if you ever change anything on your bike (i.e.: pipes, air cleaner etc.) just call them up with you invoice number and they will email you a new map.

Can't beat it.

I have run both on the same bike. PCIII is much better. It adjusts AFR through the whole throttle and RPM range. Fuel Pak is not even active under 4k RPM and 50% throttle, which is most of your riding. The reason is that Fuel Pak is EPA compliant, PCIII is rated for off street use only. Anyone that tells you Fuel Pak is doing anything to alter AFR in normal driving range is pulling your leg

That's why XIED's were invented to be used with the F/P they work below 50% throttle, so you get both closed loop and open loop afr corrections
