Default need help, dads bike has a leak!

hello ya'll... just wnated some advice... my dad has an aniv softail heritage classic... he has been dripping oil out of his primary, i have replaced the drain plug and the primary gasket and still have the leak. i am going to look the primary over tonight... just wanted to know if you guys have any idea where and what i should check... it is not pouring out but it does have a good drip, if it sits for more than 2 days there is a 3x3 puddle under it... want to get it fixed for him so i can get back to riding with my old man! little help would be awesome!

Obviously, you've checked the inspection and derby covers, right?

of course... nothing there... i think it may have something leaking behind it... any ideas, i know there is a bearing seal back there (from what i am told)

It's when it stops leaking you have a problem.

Check the tranny seal. I seem to remember reading about someone else ahving this problem a while back. The oil leaks out of the tranny and runs down the back of the primary dripping off at the back of the primary case.
