oil temp
I put one of those dipsticks with thermometer in yesterday. Today I rode about 25 miles on some country backroads just enjoying the scenery. The temp got to 220 deg and I was wondering if that was where it should be. I have the HD syn oil in right now and it seems to be cooler on my right leg than with the dino oil.

Sounds right on the mark. Mine runs 200 until the ambient temp reaches 85+ degrees and it too will read about 220. I’ve never seen mine read above 220. I run Syn 3 with a AFR of about 14.

That's good. It's 90 here today, almost chilly from what it has been.

I was running 250+ on an 06 heritage softail, with an oil cooler, but with synthetic and the cooler I now run about 200-220 here in the Florida heat. Synthetic helps run cooler for sure.
