Post Looking to increase rear tire size . . .

Gents-

I have an 85' softail and I am considering replacing my rear tire with a 200. Is this possible? Does anyone have any advice or tips? I'm hoping it is as simple as switching out the tire. But I'm afraid it may include changing my whole rear end. . .

Yep it is possible, though I recoomend nothing wider than a 180. 200 and handling starts to be compromised a bit.

No issues with the 200 on the Bones. When you get past 210 that when you MAY have issues.
