Default suspension setup

Im going to pickup my 09 heritage classic in the morning and I have been reading on here that the bike come set from the factory for a 185 lb rider? Well Im 6'3" 300 lb and I was wondering if they will adjust the suspension for me pre delivery or will I have to ask them to do this or is the suspension even adjustable? Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is my first hd and I wanna make sure I get everything right. Thanks Brandon

They should set it for you if you request it, but will only be approximate.

See if they will throw in the shock wrench. It's only a $10 tool and will come in handy down the road. The procedure for adjusting the shocks is in the owners manual. It's pretty easy to do actually.

Along with the shock spanner wrench, you'll need a 1-1/16 inch open end wrench for the lock nut. Adjusting is cake. Only takes a couple minutes.

Just be careful the shocks are not covered in lock tight (as mine were) otherwise you'll have a karnt of a time. I'm about 240lbs and have the shocks set with about 2 threads showing (4 showing is stock from memory). A lift will make a huge difference if you wnat to do it yourself as it take the pressure of the shocks as you adjust the preload. Best thing i've done to the bike was this basic adjustment, makes a world of difference.
