Default Mutazu Hard Bags on Fat Boy

I'm seriously thinking of installing these on my Fat Boy but I can't seem to find a way to get the turn signals off of the fender strut. I'm thinking of using Barebacks: http://www.cyclevisions.com/bag-mounting/barebacks
to mount the hard bags so they can be removed easily.

From what I can tell a Heritage rear turn signal bar might fit but I'm not really sure. Are there any other alternatives? I looked in the Custom Chrome catalog and came up dry for a 2008 Fat Boy. Same with Kuryakyn.

I can't believe the Mutazu bags are as cheaply priced as they are but I guess we all know where they come from. But damn they look good to me.

Here's a picture of them installed on a Deluxe.

Harley sells a inexpensive turn signal relocation kit, I think, about 40.00. I had one on my 05' when I used the Harley bags. It relocated the stock turn signals to either side of the tail light. Couldn't you eliminate the stock turns altogather and wire in the light mounted LEDs?

This would probably work but it's pricey.

Lucky 13, I could wire in the lights on the bags but if I want to remove them I'd have no turn signals.

acchd, that's what I'm looking for but it doesn't mention FLSTF as a model that it will fit. That's a real nice and tight looking light bar and you're right it's typical H-D priced.

Oh... for the mounting bracket, look for "mmcproducts" on ebay. $50 bucks.

Thanks Yosemite, that's the ticket there!

I checked mmcproducts but he doesn't seem to have it for sale at present. I put him on my favorite sellers list so I can be notified when he gets new stuff in.

That's a super slick setup you have on your Fat Boy. Must be sweet on those long hauls.

Your bags look like Mutazu's, no?

You could also get the Kuryakyn Panacea tail light that has the turn signals built right in. Its kind of expensive, but it really cleans up the back of the bike. Thats what I did.

You'll need something custom. A Heritage bar won't fit Fatboy. The fenders are different where that would mount. It looks like those bags have some sort of light housing built in? I guess you'll make the bags detachable?

Seems there would be some issues using the Quick Detach stuff.. no room for the mounting spools...

But they do look real nice on that Deluxe though...

I have a tailight from HEAVYCYCLE with the turn signals in the tailight. much brighter than Kuryakyn http://www.heavycycles.com/ AND a lifetime warranty. I had a Kuryakyn with some bad LEDS and the reply was that they don't warranty electronics.
