Question Can you listen to music on the highway?

For those who have stereo system on their bike, I m not talking about iPod and earphones, can you hear the music while riding on the highway? The motor and wind noise are quite loud, how can you listen to music? You must crank up the volume all the way, I am just curious

I have the stock Harman Karman on my SG and can hear it just fine at 80 mph. It is rare I would have it over about 3/4 volume.

J&M speaker upgrade on the Ultra and I rock out. It is not like listening to a car stereo or listening at home, but it is okay.

I have the Two Wheels Tunes setup. I can't hear it when I hit 50-55mph.

On my E-Glide I hear it just fine and rarely have it at over 50% volume. I usually wear a novelty polo style helmet, but have recently purchased a HCI pudding bowl half helmet with leather ear flaps and still hear the music fine.

I wear a half-helmet a lot of the time. I also have a full-face that I wear occasionally. I really can't hear the tunes much with the visor down, but if I have it up, I can still hear.
