Cool adjusting timing

I have never adjusted the timing on my '92 heritage but can most likely figure it out with a little help from my friends as I have done just about everything else to it. Can anyone give me some pointers? Is it all that difficult?

I don't even know if the base timing is adjustable on EVO. Anyone?
