Default fender width for a 120 tire?

I'm thinking of switching to a 21 x 3.5 front wheel and a 120 tire and changing to a different fender. Anyone know what width fender I would need? I'm thinking more of a longer wrap around fender.

Mojo, I am running a metz 120 up front. I used the 5.5 inch fender from RWD.

Thanks, that's the answer I was looking for. What width wheel are you running?

Mojo, my front wheel is 3.25” and it works fine, they did not make my front wheel in 3.5”. I used the stock wheel spacers.

I run a 130mm wide up front on an 18x3.5" rim. But as stated above about 5.5" is correct for a 120/130mm wide setup up front.

I guess it's a moot point. I contacted my painter today and to paint a fender I provide, he wants about $750 to prep and paint it to match my bike. Having the whole bike painted was less than $2k. Unless I find someone who can duplicate this scheme for a lot less $$$ I'll keep it like it is.
