I took off some of the extras on my deluxe like the passenger seat,sissy bar and luggage rack, love the way way the bike looks with out all that crap, sort of the stripped down look, anyway--without that stuff the rear fender has 3 bolts sticking up not looking so good. anybody got any ideas on what to do with the fender (without filling the holes and paint and all that) I still might put the crap back on there and use it again, I need somthing lookin cool as all that back there---IDEAS---Capt Bob

 

It is called a fender bib. Hog Deluxe makes a real nice one but many other ones out there.

Yup....also HD and Mustang seats make them too!! Do a search on "fender bibs"

 

Harley sells some chrome caps that screw into the holes.

I used some white plastic license plate screw caps for the front 2 since I will never put the stock rack back on and used the screm in chrome cap for the passenger seat one so I can remove it easily when using a passenger seat.

Bibs work too if that's your thing...I like showing off the paint..

I use the HD bib, when I go solo. It looks ok, but I like the look of a bare painted fender better.

 

I had a bib, but didn't like it so now it sits in the attic. I went to Ace and got two auto interior push plugs, like the ones that hold on the interior to the door itself. It was $2.00 then went and bought some plastic spray paint that matches. Looks pretty good.

 

The Deluxe looks sweet even bare bones.
