need some riser information

i have a 08 softail custom and i want to put a set of risers and handle bars of a night train the harley catalogue says that they wont work on a custom anybody know what the reason would be thanks

I have the be honest with you...the stock Nightrain bars suck (IMO)! Check out the Wild1 Chubbys or the Pull Back Drags.
