My GF just got an new softail deluxe. She has had the bike lowered an additional 1" so she can sit flat footed.The problem is she is only 5'-3" and the reach to the forward controls is just a little too long for her to be comfortable. Where can we find shorter/adjustable controls so she can ride comfortably?

 

Floorboards may make for a more comfortable ride as she would then be able to bend her kness rather than ride stretched out all of the time.

I know there are kits to move the controls out but not sure about back towards the rider.

You should also look at seats that will mover her forward. Mean city can do a Seat recut and move a person forward like 2".

Butch the post on the seat was a VERY good idea. My friends wife had the exact same problem and Harley sells a seat known as a " reach seat" that will move her closer to the controls. Now when they put the seat on it helped her greatly on moving forward however, she did NOT sit as low as the OE seat. She overcame this by wearing a good boot that made up the differance.

+1 on seat rehab. You;ll end up with a much better seat instead of playing around ands spending a lot more on controls that may or may not work well.
