Default Rider's Backrest for Deluxe Seats

Just wanted to pass along this information for any of you Deluxe owners interested in getting the Springer Rail and Hi or Low Backrest Pads. It's a very comfortable set up and now the pads are obsolete. I found these ads on Ebay. The links are below. Otherwise, start calling all of the dealers. You might find one that has them in old stock. I bought a Deluxe seat from someone on this forum and found the pad and rail at two dealers within 60 miles of each other.

Good luck if you're bidding!

Dinger!

Thanks for the info, Dinger. I would have thought you'ld have gotten a number of takers on this. Seem like someone's askin' about these almost everyday.

I agree! I posted this as I've read a lot of the threads discussing these parts.
By the way, I'm not selling. I just thought I'd pass this along!

The first problem is most Deluxe owners don't know these parts fit on their seat. I discovered the set up while looking at bikes one day at Cook's Corner. I had to have one after that day!

The other problem is these items are going to sell at a premium since you can't find them at the dealer.

Here's a shot of my bike with the seat/backrest. I've had it on for a few months.

Premium prices isn't the word.. Sheeeeeeesh, the High back pad is up to 256.00 with only 9 bids. Danged thing was only 114.00 when it was available at the dealers... Someone wants this thing badly... Glad I got the wifes while they were still available.
