Default 21" rim width on Deluxes/ Heritages

This is a question for the folks who are sledding out their bikes with the skinny 21" tire up front:

I assume that most of you are running the Dunlop venom whitewall (MH90H21) up front? With that being the case, how wide of rim are you running? Is 2.15 to narrow? Is 3.5 too fat? Is 2.25 just right?

Any help (with pics if possible) is greatly appreciated!

Thanks! Jo

Thanks J. Just to clarify, you are running a 90 series on a 3.5 without issue? Thanks again

Yeah 90, No problems at all, if you buy a quality rim you should be able to use the stock spacers as well. Good luck post up some pics when you get them

Here is my friends Deluxe 120/70/21 on a 21x3.5" rim. He has no issues with the rim.

Badass look, but don't hit potholes or any debris on the road.

I used a 21 from a stock harley with an mh90 avon I just cut out my old hub from my 16"and relaced it with this 21" outer. The spacing was a little off with the complete 21" setup, thats why i cut my old wheel apart. Ive seen some with 3.5 and its a super low sidewall. I bang the crap out of mine like they are

On my Deluxe I'm running an Avon Venom on a 21" x 2.15" wheel with no problems. I have friends who are running with 3.5" rims and no issues.
