Seat changes and fender scratches

Seat changes and fender scratches
I have 08 cross bone and it came with original solo seat. I also have been changing back and forth with the badlander seat and sissy bar with the solo seat. I'm noticing that the rear fender is starting to show a little abrasion to the paint. Anybody have cure for this ? Si, just don't change the seats right. Thought maybe somebody could share a little wisdom. Thought about adding felt to the bottom of the badlander seat. Maybe i ought to saddle blanket the fender. Any way open for suggestions.
Thanks,

I use a thin (1/4") piece of foam rubber under my 2 up seat on my RK when I have to taxi the old Ball and chain on the back. Never had much of a scuffing issue this way, but whatever method you use, take the seat off and clean under there every couple of days if you have it on for a long stretch an are putting some miles behind you. Road dust will get in there and act like fine sandpaper.

Wallmart sells a sticky rubber pad that is advertized to stick on your car dash and set your cell or mp3 player on. Its 5 bucks and can be used over and over. sold back in the automotive dept. Just stick it down before you put the 2 up seat on, pull it off and stick it to the seat when you go back to solo. Get a paint shop to buff the fender, your bike is too nice to screw up the paint anymore that it already is.

that may be the ticket for me too.
Anyone know where I can get the 3M Paint Protective Film? I asked a guy at autozone and he looked like he didn't know what I was talking about.
