Default Help! Rush 1.75 or 2.00?

Looking into getting some Rush Slip-on's for my '07 Fatboy. Any suggestions on 1.75 or 2.00? At the moment, I have some SE that are sounding strange. When i let go of the gas I hear a strange "chirping" sound. I think it has to do with the baffles. Anyways, is there a big difference in sound between the 2? Any advice from who to order from? Thanks

1.75s were too quiet for me. I upgraded to 2.25s and got just what I wanted.

Go to this link, it is on Rush Web Site. Go down to bottom of page & pick what size of baffles you want to hear and the video rolls. My uncle put the 2" baffled slip ons on a 08 RK and sounds pretty good, + I think he got away with no fuel tuner but he also has the stock air filter.

Later,
Danny

I've heard that if you go above the 1.75 then you'll need to remap your exhuast because of decel popping. I've got 2's and had to do just that. My husband has 1.75's on his Road King and did not. Mine do sound just a tad better I think. I now have a PCIII with a custom map and a Ness Big Sucker air cleaner to go with my Rush 2's.

Just ordered a set for my new FLSTC with 1.75's. Don't want to sound like a 70's Sporty with drag pipes. You can always adjust up from there.....baffles don't cost much. Now we need a smilie with it's ears covered.

I have the 2" baffles which sound great. They aren't too loud around town or on the highway but if I get on it I can make them roar. I have gotten a lot of comments from other riders on how great they sound.

I put Rush 1.75 slip ons on my 2008 Softail Custom, last weekend I changed the baffles to 2.00.

I lost a lot of the bottom end of my power band, I like the sound of the 2.00 better but couldn't stand the loss of torque.

I put the 1.75 back in.

I'm a newbie to Harleys and I'm sure there's a way to solve the problem, I just don't know what it is.

What I'm really looking for is a really nice deep Harley sound, which I can hear when I'm cruising on the highway at 60. Something like my old SE's on my '97 Fatboy.
