Default Turn signals question

I would like to narrow my rear turn signals on my 08' Heritage. Can I just put some from a deluxe on, will they "bolt right up?" That tombstone tail light looks pretty sweet too. Just asking...

I think the deluxe turn signals will fit just fine but if you want to just move them in some, Kuryakyn makes a replacement turn signal bar that is 4.75 inches shorter for about 50 bucks.

The signal light "bar" from a deluxe will not fit your Heritage. Also the Tombstone tail light would require some customization. The Deluxe signal lights themselves will bolt right on to your existing bar. There are some shorter bars but they all say not compatible with stock Heritage Bags. Maybe the Kury one Luck 13 mentioned will work. Harley has one that mentions the saddlebags. Here's the link anyway:

But you used your stock Heritage bar in the rear and stock mounts in front, correct? You just mounted the bullet light in place of the stock light without using any Deluxe mounting parts? I also have bullets all around on mine.

The thread started with a question about using a Deluxe rear light bar or even a tombstone tail light on a Heritage. Would those fit on your '06?

If that is the light bar you are thinking you want, as long as you have a dealer with one in stock buy it and try it. As I'm sure you know the HD catalog is full on misinformation along with the labels on the parts you buy. the last thing i do is base my decisions off of the info i get from the catalog. I have a couple of parts on my bike that are not suppose to fit. Just my 2 cents.

How did you space the saddlebags far enough to get the turn signal bar to work with saddlebags? I have the same turn signal bar as you. I took off the mounting studs and replaced them with longer 3/8 bolts and used 9/16 nuts as spacers, but would like to know how you did it.
