Default Need An Assist on Security System 07 Softail

I walked out and left the key (keyless security fob) to my 07 Deluxe about 150 miles from where my bike is parked. Yes I am a dumbass.

Question is, can the dealer hook me up with a new key on Saturday morning that will allow me to start the bike even though the "key" is technically a proximity security key fob that I assume needs to be programmed?

Any help tonight would really be appreciated, thanks in advance...

You can start the bike with the security bypass feature...if you want I can type outthe instructions...

In short...
1) With the bike on the stand and you off the bike, turn the IGN on and then hold both turn signal switches down until the odometer flashes with five dashed lines.
2) Use the left turn sig switch X time to enter the first PIN digit. Then hit the right turn sig. switch to ENTER,
3) Repeat 2) until all five PIN DIGITS have been entered. The last time you hit the right turn sig switch disarms the sec module.

The KEY here is knowing the PIN. I think the factory default is all 1's. Can anyone confirm?

were you not given 2 keyless fobs when you bought the bike?
The pin code should have been written down in your owners manual,
Harley can supply another pin/fob but will charge the earth for this.....

Thanks to you both for the replies...No extra key fob, no manual with me. If I am reading this right, the HD dealer can fix the problem by me throwing money at it...

Either of you know if they will need the bike?

Try the security bypass I typed up. Use all 1's and see if that works.

I'm relatively sure they will need the bike unless they know you personally...and then it would be iffy. Think about it a minute........would they tell just anyone who calls how to bypass the security system? They'll need proof that the bike you are asking about is owned by you. Just my thoughts.

BTW, the factory setting on my system was indeed all 1's as was suggested above. Would definitely be worth a try.

Yeah well the HD boys can sort it out for you but i think they need bike.
Did you buy new ? because you should have been given a 5digit number (of your choice) and it should have been written down in the manual..well thats what happened for me in the UK unless different here............good luck

I bought the bike as a repo, no manual, no extra fob. I do have my registration, insurance card etc that will properly ID me as the owner...I do appreciate your point regarding ownership.

I also have experience with one of the Dealers here in Tulsa.

I have not tried the security bypass yet 07fxstc, thanks a million for typing it up for me, all of your responses have been really helpful and I will try it out before I call HD.

Any other suggestions would be great and thanks again to all.
