Any one have a compass mounted on a Heritage Classic? A friend of mine was looking in the catalog and couldn't find correct part numbers to mount one.

 

Well, gosh............ is it analog or digital? Is it made for some sort of clamp or is it possible to "stick" it on somewhere (like double sided tape)? Does he want it on the handlebars or somewhere else. What brand is it? What year Heritage?

Sheesh........... give us something to work with here.

He was looking to use the harley digital one. He wants to mount it in the center of the handle bars. Dealership couldn't even help with correct bracket.

Mount a GPS it will give you a lot more info than the compass!!

 

Hmmm.. A GPS, I'll have to run that by him. Crawdad, we were looking at that same thing yesterday. We noticed it said fits FLSTSC (Springer), but not say it would work with FLSTC ( Heritage), Do you think it would make a difference? And thank you for your input

 

I probably need to get a life but............ I looked into this further. HD makes a number of mini gauge brackets. The compass is probably considered a mini gauge and would fit into a number of these brackets. The reason FLSTC is not listed is due to how close the stock windshield fits to the handlebars. So the only way to mount this bracket would be with a windshield mod of some sort (and maybe nothing drastic)?
