Default Rush Slip-On's '08 Heritage

I completed installing Rush Slip-On's yesterday (2.25" bafflers with Nighter Rider Xied's). I fired her up sounded really good but noticed a little vibration. Stalled out several times from a stand still and never could get above 70 mph. Keep riding thinking the EFI would self adjust after a few minutes. Went home found exhaust leaks from both headers. After fixing the leaks went on another ride - same problem, however this time I noticed oil coming out of the front muffler.

I figured out the problem and I very happy with my purchase and the exhaust note is great.

Can you guess what the problem was? The fix had nothing to do with the installation.

Ummm............ you blew the piston rings out of the front cylinder and then had them replaced?

Kidding of course.

The front spark plug wire was off the plug! I worked all day long trying to figure out the problem. My first and only thought was the lack of back pressure until I noticed the oil in the muffler. Anyway I'm very please with the Rush Slip-On's - the chrome is excellent, the install was simple and the tone makes the bike sound like a Harley.

70 MPH on one cylinder, not bad. You should be able to get at least 140 on two.
