Default springers/rake

whats with the rake on late model springers? why do the look so straight up and down? Is there a reverse rake to the springers themselves? (stem) Aren't the frames all the same? 32 deg. ? ? ?

Default springer

Irish, is the springer in line with the angle of the neck? I don't have one to look at. Some appear to have less rake. Like the Crossbones.

It is...I looked at the frame of another softail and that is the same, it just seems like the rake is less, even though it says 32 degrees...when they say 32, do they mean the rake from the frame?
