My first broken thing on my 09 Crossbones
so I was minding my own business, not a care in the world, enjoying the rumble of my pro streets when all of the sudden bang!! Scared the **** out of me.... my head light blew apart, I had a 2-3 hole in the middle of the lens
WTF
I was by my self, not following anybody when this happened
anyways... thought it would be a good upgrade time so I bought on of these with 4H lens and a 55\100b watt bulb

was it a good choice?

Bummer dude but sometimes your own wheel picks up and throws down a rock in front of you. Usually hitting you in the shins but sometimes comes right back up at you. Had it happen to me a couple of times. Once the rock came up and as you guess it, I was smiling cause I was out riding and broke off my front tooth. I was all alone on the road nobody around in the middle of the desert. The dangling nerve hurt like hell til I got it fixed.Much rather have replaced a headlight, a lot cheaper too.

Ive looked at the H4 Bulbs as a replacement, as its a much better than the staock harley bulb, but have been put off by mates saying they can blow relays. Has any one else had this problem
On a different note, I noticed the rear light wasnt working on my Cossbones went to change the bulb and as soon as I started to unscrew it a load of water came out from the back. When the bulb holder was removed there was a load of water inside the lens the bulb had blown up and there was only wires left had to rip it out of the holder with pliers, lucky the bike is still under warranty and got a new tailllight unit of the dealer

Well 1 of my buds rides with the upgraded light and bulb. he has had no trouble at all. it is stock watts on low beam and 100 watts high. I drive 6 miles down a gravel road every day with Moose, Deer, and Black bare quite comman in my neck of the woods.
I'll post a review when it's installed
