Default Fatboy and Longshots

I love the looks of the Vance and Hines longshots, however I've always heard they can drag on the ground. I'm looking for some first hand knowledge.

My F.B. is lowered about 1-1/2" and I drag my right floorboard before I drag the bottom pipe. You have to be careful coming off of curbs, but overall it is not a problem.

Or low dips... that's how I caught mine.

I have Big Shot Longs on my Fatboy... Any right-hand turn with a little speed and they are going to drag. I have alot of twisties between my house and work, and most of the weekend riding I do are on twisty mountain roads. Also, I think i ride a little faster than most and my ride is lowered about an inch. So, I drag alot. I am pretty sure the longshots are about the same length as the BSL's, but I think the BSL's hang a little lower. If you are a conservative rider and your ride is at the stock height you shouldn't have much of a problem. As stated earlier, careful on the dips and curbs.
