Default Fat Boy rear fender extension kit

Hey Guys,

I want to replace the stock/plastic rear fender extension on my 2004 Fat Boy. How difficult is it to install the stainless steel unit from HD without removing the rear tire? Seems a little tight up there. Did a search for this same questions but found nothing.

Thanks

If it's the part linked below you will NOT need to remove the rear tire. Put the bike on a lift and there will be enought room to get the plastic part off and put the new part on.
