Default LePera??

Sorry I know this has been beat to death. I'm 5'11 about 212 lbs. Did alot of searching on this site and other places. I like to ride long distance alone and want a good seat (solo) a big plus. Looked at all I could find and the Mustang seems to be ok but anybody know about LePera Monterey Solo Smooth? It's a little cheaper in price. Info please.

I did my homework before springing for my LePera, and the Monterey was one I considered. I wound up going with the Silhouette, just my personal choice...but trust me, if you're gonna be in the saddle a lot, the gel is worth the few extra bucks. btw, I don't know if they're still a sponsor here, but I got mine and some stuff since, from Eastern Performance...saved me some $$.

I ordered mine last week, won't be in until about next week, so I can't say yet. But I will say that they were very helpful with my questions. I got the same as Trains but a 2-up. We'll see.

From the le pera website:

We're looking for bikes in the Los Angeles area. Let us use your '09 Bike for a week and get $400 credit toward a new seat. Contact us for more info>>>

Seems a good deal (if you live in LA!)

Get a solo with a detachable backrest if you're doing long hauls. You won't believe what a difference it makes!

i don't know much about that particular seat, but I have had great experiences with lepera. They make a fantastic seat and their customer service is amazing.
