Default added sert, already had V & H fuelpak..

Hi,
I recently had some major engine mods done & the dealer put a close map into the SERT based on the upgrades (this will be updated upon dyno after breakin).

Prior to this i had installed a V & H fuelpak for my propipes & they left the fuelpak installed & plugged in even though they added the sert (insisting this was OK)...

I know this is not ideal but was wondering if anyone thinks this is harmfull?

PS: bike seems to be running great

I have the SERT on my Custom and from what I understand it wouldn't hurt anything, but it is redundent as the purpose of the SERT is to reprogram the ECU therefore making the fuelpak unnecessary. Plus the fuelpak only regulates the fuel whereas the SERT has the ability to do much more.

ok thank you for the reply...

that makes sense to me & i guess the worst case is i run rich & not lean so thats cool. Itll be taken off when i get it dynoed but im hesitant to do that now as it seems to be running so good.

but at the same time its pretty easy to remove and id prefer to do that than too hurt my new engine...

If it runs that good I'd leave it.
