Default Newbie Looking for pipes

I have a 08 Heritage and have been looking at V & H. Seems that none of them actually say they fit a flstc. I like the big radius but I don't think they fit. Anyone have these on a Heritage?

Welcome to the site and congrats on your ride. Got any pics? As to your post I have seen Heritages with BR pipes but I cannot say that I know 100% they are direct bolt on's. I would think they would be though.

From my understanding, all pipes stating that they fit a particular year Softy will fit all models. I may be wrong and I would look into it more before I went and dropped $$$

Call V & H they will tell you instantly if they will fit.

You are definitely wrong.

Take a look at the Fat Boy, Deluxe, and Heritage (just for example) ........they all 3 have different exhaust configurations.

Yeah......... but, don't all three have the exact same engine? So it becomes a matter of brackets and any re-locations (like a foot peg or saddlebag mount) to make those suckers fit right in there.

I think you may be wrong....

all it takes is the correct brackets and mounting hardware. my bike is a prime example. I'm running '07 Standard pipes on an '08 FatBoy. was NO problem with the install, once I got all the mounting hardware from the Standard - it all bolted up without a hitch. took less than 30 minutes to do it.

just saying.....

Stud location may be different degrees depending on year and model of bike. Order '97 softail pipes and you may end up with '97 Fat Boys and your #2 being at 45 degrees pointing to the ground when mounted (happened to me in 2000). Parts labelled "Softail" doesn't necessarily mean "Heritage", just like "multi-fit" doesn't mean "fit-my-bike". Gotta do the research first.
