Default What size is the gas tank.

I brought a 2006 softail deluxe and wanted to know the size of the gas tank?

Maybe it still has 1.5 gallons in there each time you fill it?

Yeah, the gauge isn't accurate. I just go about 150 miles or so and fill up again. Usually don't even put in over 4 gallons.

Don't look at the gauge, I fill by mileage,
Before you turn the ignition on, straighten the bike and it should read correctly.

Yup...gas gauge seems to come on early!! Go by the mileage instead ...+/- a few miles whether hwy riding or "getting on it" around town!!

I fill by mileage too.
Ever since I swapped out my tins, the gauge has been way off.
