Rocker c with Danny Gray
Here are some pics of my bike --finally done! The bike is lowered using the harley lowering bolts and I installed a Danny Gray. I also have saddle bags which are not in the pics-- The saddle bag hardware , was powder coated, and is also used to mount my license plate ( yes I can quick disconnect and put the plate on the swing arm in a vertical position, but I never do).

The seat was aroun 330 and it is a much better position. You sit in not on.
lowering it with harley bolts takes teh rear down 2 inches and yes it closed the gap!
The danny gray screws into the front hole on each side of the bike. it has a bracket that comes down from teh seat and lines up with teh front hole. The strut system should work. The saddle bag hardware which screws into those holes woked fine. the bracket off teh seat is thin and it doesnt cause any problems going thru the saddle bag hardware and the seat into teh frame.
