Talking need some help, here's my idea.....

so earlier this year i got my hands on an 08 'train in denim black, used, with four hundred miles on it for a steal. my idea of an almost perfect bike. i want to put on a rear fender that meets the following specs. 1. is bolt on, no mods to bike. 2. wide enough to fit stock rear tire (200mm, 17 in.). 3. come painted to match, denim black. 4. full fender style, at least as long as what comes on a deluxe. 5. again, like the deluxe, tombstone tail light. 6. this would be a bonus, but, if it came with the tailight and signals with blue dots already on, that would be sweet *******.

so if anyone can tell me where too look for such a thing, i'd greatly appreciate it.

Tell us all the places you have already looked so we don't duplicate your extensive efforts on YOUR idea.

So here is what I am doing to my XBones.. FatBoy rear fender (2007+) & Wide Tomestone Taillight. Fender is out for paint right now for Denim black w/ pinstripe and I am powdercoating the tail light. I gave the guy painting the fender the tail light and he is going to modify it prior to paint so it will fit. Not quite as long as the Deluxe, which if fine cause I am keeping the stock xbones front fender and it would look like to much 'weight' in the back if I went any bigger. In the end I need 6 bolts and 4 brackets to make it work and I could probably make it work w/o them.

The Fatboy rear fender is the longest one I could find that would allow me to keep HD parts on the bike. The reason I wanted to do that is so that I could still be assured aftermarket items like seats ect would fit ok.

Diskon put a Fatty rear fender on his NT.

If you want something even longer I found these on E-bay... custom made, ready to install, and you may even be able to have them paint it for you...
