Default Passenger seats 14"

I am going to change out my stock passenger seat for a 14" touring seat, to see if my wife will be more comfortable. I'm looking at HD seat and the Mustang. Anyone have any comments, good, bad, the same?? Either of them have more padding??

Are you talking a one piece two-up seat? Which HD are you looking at? The Sundowner bucket? Is it this one? (link below)

Or did you mean this one (link below)?

I have this one. It's huge. I only use it for really long trips (hooked to stock solo).

Go with the Mustang or the Saddlemen seat. Most of the Aftermarket seat are always more comfortable than the Harley seats. More goes into the cushion than the rights for the name.

Wifey couldn't ride more than 15 minutes w/ stock rear seat without her rear end going numb and aching. Got the Mustang setup and she can go all day.

I guess you are changing the entire seat as you cant change the pinion alone. You can get the pinion repadded at many shops and the may be the best if you like your front seat.

I put the touring seat on my 99 Heritage and when I bought the 07 that was the first thing my wife asked for. Much more comfortable ride and not much money. You also get the studs to match the rest of the bike.

Crawdadaz, I am looking at your second option, just the 14" passanger seat.

I just got off the phone with Mustang, and they are telling me, I can't attach their passanger seat to my stock seat. I have to go with their solo seat also.

Sounds expensive........... I have no idea if it's worth it. So maybe the HD one is the way to go. Bolts right on to your stock solo seat.
