Fellow forum readers so you know I have been on vacation for a few days and have read many posts on Deluxe seat problems for tall riders. I have called C&C as well as Mean City Cycles and just want input here before I buy. I’m 6’ 4” tall at 285#’s. I absolutely love my deluxe but seating is a problem. I bought the Harley “Tall Boy” seat and it puts me in the PERFECT riding position but my bike looks like I just bolted on a couch and that won’t work for me. I’m going solo so here’s what would be great. I would love to hear from TALL riders meaning 6’2” and above that have solos that give you that rear movement, please give me manufacturer and model. Pedals, Bars etc are fine to me; it’s the riding position at the seat. If possible can you attach a photo and or send to my personal email blkelectraglide@gmail.com Soon as I make a decision on the solo….Tall Boy seat will be available Cheap to anyone that wants it.

Mean City should be able to modify stock seat to your liking...

 

Im 6'2 and 235 and i put a 07 heritage seat on my 07 deluxe much more comfy and puts me down and back a bit.sorry i dont have any pics yet

 

I'm 6'2 and I shaved down my seat but I want more. My problem is the I have an 08 and no one is making seats yet for the 08 Deluxe.

 

I'm 6'5" and use a LePera BareBones Solo on my 07 FatBoy. It sits me down and back and a top quality seat.

 

Use the stock seat from a fatboy, the seat is relatively flat and allows you to sit back. It separates from the passenger seat to make a solo. We just did it on my buddy's Deluxe and he couldn't believe how much more comfortable he is with it over stock. I'm forwarding you a picture of his bike, he also bought a Mustang tank bib to cover the rear fender.
