I was talking to a buddy at work about oil changes ( yea, it was that kind of day). Anyway, I was just wondering what would happen if you overfilled the transmission. The 5 speed in my 06 calls for only 22oz. He has an 04 Road King and just dumps a quart in the tranny every time. Could this do any damage? I could only think of maybe some coming out of the vent, but he says that hasn't happened.

 

Supposedly you have to way overfill it for it to come out the vent.
