2006 of course...well that's what mine is. They are pretty similar from 1990 to 2006 as far as looks. There are some mechanical difference. I think 2000 or 2001 is the first year of the TC88, they were evos before that. Also, I know the 2006 models have the easier clutch. 2006 and earlier the EFI was an option, 2007 and newer it was standard equipment. 2007 and newer have wider rear tire, internally wired bars, larger diameter wheels, and some other stuff. I like the look of the 06 and older bikes better, but I'm biased. I think the EFI system changed from the Delphi to the MM or vice versa at some point but don't know much about that. Anyway, good luck, probably can't go wrong with any Fatboy. Find the one that gives you the best deal and color you like and pull the trigger.

2000-2006 fare pretty much the same. I think 2001 they switched from MM efi to Delphi. I have a 2002.

You got a good one,'02 was the last year of the forged steel cranks and Timken bearings plus the upgrades of the past couple years like 4pot brakes, sealed wheel bearings, bigger rear axle and Delphi EFI if not carbed.

I guess I am bias. 2008. 96, 200mm and 6 speed.

My '08 has 9k miles on her in 4 months. Not one issue yet.

Have to Agree if you are going to look, I would shop for a 2002 EFI. It would give you the option of doing anything to the motor and not worry about the bottom end. You can find good deals on these because there are not enough people in the know to keep the price up.

forged steel cranks and Timken bearings

Why did they change to something else after 02? Is there a reason behind it?
