Question Disable Auto Cancelling Turn Signals?

Is there a way to disable the auto cancelling turn signals? Mine always cancel out on their own before I want them to. I don't want 'em to turn off until I says so! For example, I'll hit my signal as I approach an intersection to make a left turn. By the time I come to a stop, they'll cancel out and the cars behind me are honkin' their horns wondering, "why are you stopped, the lights green, GO!!!"

They tend to cut out pretty consistantly after about 6 blinks. They don't cancel out if I'm stopped, but they do if I'm rollin'.

Turn signals cancellation works from the signal from the VSS to the TSM/TSSM based on speed and distance once the turn switch is closed; the slower you go the less distance it stays on. I'd rather someone honked at me then I got hit by some dumba$$ because I forgot to cancel my turn signal. Just turn and give them a Chuck Norris look!

I have the opposite problem. They only auto cancel when it is over about 80 degrees. Since I'm in Michigan, most of the time they don't cancel.
I am clueless as to why they would be temperature sensitive.

When Chuck Norris looks in a mirror the mirror shatters. LOL.

Anyway, that's some good info. It just always cancels out right before I want it to! There's gotta be someway to disable it.

Sounds like there's something wrong with your self cancelling feature. Mine stay on until a few seconds after I've completed my turns.

No problems with mine either on my cross bones, they stay on for a couple of seconds after I make my turn.
