Personally, I was happiest when parts fit "'36 to Present", but its a new era I guess.

Does anyone know if an exhaust system for a Evo Softail will fit on an '08 model Softail. I know about the usual things like clearance for bags, etc. Just wondering if the port to port dimensions, etc. are the same.

Interesting that it says that. They are completely different bikes, frames and engines. So I am going to have to punt and say I doubt it. Even without the O2 sensor bungs used on all models after 07 there has to be at least minor measurement differences between EVO and Twinkie motors and the frames their in.

 

I have an Evo White Bro's E series 2:1 on my 01 Deuce. Fits fine, but you have the EPA bike with gubmit mandated O2 sensors, EFI, etc...
