Default Removing turn signals

Well its getting cold up here in the mornings so after 5 yrs of fighting it, I broke down and installed the windshield. Problem is the front turn signals have to move and there really isn't a good place to move them to. I removed them which is something I've been wanting to do for awhile and finally found a good reason to do it. I've read on this sight where some have needed a load balancer to keep everything working correctly. The only thing I've noticed is the rear blinkers blink about twice as fast as they used to. I know with my old cars, this would happen when you were overloading the plug in flasher by hooking up a trailer. Is this a problem to worry about?

Thanks for the help. BTW, its a 2003 Springer.

Try doing a momentary disconnect of your battery. The ECM might reset and possibly correct your rear signals some. It might not help but it's worth a try, since the ECM does have some adjustment in it.
I did it when I switched to LED rear signals. The biketronics tech told me to do the momentary disconnect then activate the right then the left signal for several seconds. It may flash fast for a few seconds then slow down after the ECM adjusts.

J&P Cycles sells straight and L chrome brackets that allow turn signals to be attached a variety of ways. Don't have a Springer, but there should be a way...likely done before. If it were legal, I would leave them off, but unfortunately...

I got this kit:

I don't have a windshield, but these relocated the signals under the passing lamps very nicely. It was nice getting them off the handlebars.

This place has different lengths of fork mounted turn signals for with or without windshields.
