Angry Rocker C rear tire

I have owned my Rocker C since April 2008. I had the rear tire replaced after approximately 3000 miles, "wore out" said the dealer tech. I have approximately another 3000 miles on this tire and its almost to the tread wear markers.
Am I doing something wrong in the way I am riding? I have not spun these tires. I do however live on some rough country roads.
Is anybody else having a problem with low mileage from the OEM Dunlops that are on the Rockers?
Has anybody tried any other brand of tires as a replacement?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Air pressure up? I have found that running the psi stamped
on the tire is the way to go.

I have almost 3000 miles on mine and owned it since February '08 and the treadwear is virtually like new.

I rode my Rocker with listed air pressure, had to replace at about 8500 miles. I switch to Metzelers - so far I have put on about 3000 miles. Hopefully I will get about the same or better mileage , but I have been told to expect less mileage but better handling. We will see.

Sounds like that tire is wearing way too fast. Watch your pressure and maybe change tire brands.

I think I have almost 4,000 miles on mine and the tread is still very good. I keep them about 40psi.

I've got 3500 on mine and it's got MAYBE 1500 miles left in it.. It's almost to the tread indicators.. And yes, I do keep the right air pressure in it..

I keep a watch on the pressure. If anything, I run a little low so it won't wear out the middle of the tire so fast. Doesn't seem to help.

I can't believe this is all the response I get, with all the Rocker owners there seem to be on this forum. I am looking options on replacing this worn out tire.

I suggest you try a set of Metzelers and see if your tire milage doesn't improve. I've only got 2200 miles on my stock Dunlap’s and there still looking new. I live off a very rough and bumpy road, but this doesn't appear to be accelerating the tire wear. Sorry I can't help with your problem. Appears from the other responses that we're all getting pretty good life out of our stock tires.
