Default Speakers and Amps

Does anyone have input on speakers and amps that I could install for use with my mp3 player?

I got some from Uniqcycle sounds. 150 W amp. and 4" by 2" deep speakers. I am satisfied with the sound.

Not a lot of call for speakers on most Softails. I don't think I could hear a radio or MP3 player while riding mine unless I used house speakers and couple of hundred watt's worth of amp.
Well there's always ear buds, but I don't think much of them and they might even be illegal in some states.

I do the earbud thing also. I can hear them just fine going down the highway at 75mph.

I'm not a big fan of the earbud thing either. I was looking for something that was easy on and off (for security reasons). Was hoping to just rock out on the Blueridge Pkway on my trip south. Thanx for the input.

Default Speakers

I have a set of rumble road speakers. The speakers are built into HD spotlight cases. Each speaker has an amp inside. They mount to the handlebars. I use them with my zumo 550 for the xm radio. You can also mount them to the crashbars. Great sound quality.

I set up my amp, for my Ipod, so I can put it in a windshield bag and take it out when I need to. The amp puts out 150 watts, and the speakers, I made enclosures, are 110 watts each. Ended up painting the speakers my bike color. Sound is great and clear at 80 mph.
http://www.uniqcycle.com/150_Watt_Cu..._p/ucs-amp.htm

Speakers cost $49.99 for both... enclosure parts $ 15, clamps $20.
