Default Heritage seat
I need a driver seat for the stock 2000 heritage.Is there one available?

I should have said I need a driver backrest for the stock seat?

Do a search on "heritage seat" on ebay. Bidding can get competative but I wouldn't bid more than $100.00 on a seat in good condition.

Yes,and I need a driver backrest.I would like to go solo with the stock seat and driver backrest.

hd doesn't make a drivers backrest for the stock seat. You have to go aftermarket.

There is an HD seat with a built in backrest... but it's not a solo seat. It's a one piece 2up.

You could also get a deluxe seat with a springer rail and backrest. See this thread.
