Default My new exhaust- Hard Krome

Well, I've been going round and round trying to find a new "long shot" style system that fits my budget. I got lucky and nabbed this setup brand new on ebay. I've seen people with very different opinions of the DG product, but must say that I'm very happy with the fit and finish, and that I only had minor issues during installation. The right passenger peg is the main fit issue. I ended up shortening the boss on the swingarm to allow for some more room near the upper pipe. The set included relocation plates for the passenger pegs- I'm still working to resolve this issue.

But, here's what the finished product looks like. I do like the sound also. They are a little louder at idle, sound nice when you're loping/cruising, and are pretty loud when you get on it. I got a smokin' deal too.

Thanks for the props, everyone.

They're very deep/throaty sounding. When you decelerate, they make a wild noise- sounds like jowls flapping or something. Kinda hard to describe, but sounds cool.

The last thing I'm hoping to do now for awhile is lower the bike a little. I think between lowering it, the drag bars, and the long exhaust it should have a nice sleek look to it- that's what I'm going for, anyway.

Looks really nice. Somehow 'sleek' and Fatboy just don't seem to go together.
But if your looking for a different, more 'sleek' look have you thought of getting hold of one of the older 'Street Stalker' Kits for Fatboys? I don't think they are avalable directly from HD any more, but you might get lucky and find one cheap on evil-bay or stuffed in the back of a wherehouse someplace.
