Default Lowering Question

Just a quick question concerning lowering my night train. I replace the handle bars on my night train with street slammers. They are a little low for my taste but I love the bars. I was just wondering if I had my rear end lowered if that would make the bars seem a little higher. I don't really want to change bars since they look good and are internal wired.

Thanks

I had to give that some thought...I think it seemed that way, but I think all that actually changed is the angle of the bars slightly...the height proportion remains the same...btw, mine is lowered 2" in the rear, and looks and handles great.

If you plan to lower the back you should lower the front too. If you do plan to lower your rear and not your front, then it is pretty much obvious that your front will look higher.

I see what you are saying about the angle changing, Maybe that will be improvement enough. You have that same bike as me and it looks cool lowered. Even if there is no change in my approach to the bars I'm sure I will like it lowered anyway.

Thanks

Just an fyi, I lowered my front and back by two inches. I purchased a lowering kit to make the adjustments. But you can either purchase lowering shocks or get an air ride.

No problem...here's a couple of more recent pics, showing the lowered rear.
