Default 06 fat boy frt forks

I have 20,000 miles on myFat Boy and was told that the
springs in the frt forks are wore out.
Any recommendations on aftermarket springs.
The frt end is really soft.
Thanks,Daniel

I seriously doubt if your springs are worn out. You should drain the folk fluid and replace with either the weight oil called out in your manual or the SE oil. A lot of riders switch to the SE oil or equivalent. It is a higher viscosity so you get a firmer feel, versus the original oil.
I have replaced the front springs on 2 of the bikes I have had. Went to progressive's for a sportier ride.

+1. Did you change the fork oil at 10K? If not you are long over due and that is most likely the reason for the soft ride.

Spring worn out? I doubt it.
Check the fork oil and go from there.

I think Progressive springs are best' but most after market springs are only $100.00 or less. Fork oil gets pritty nasty. The damper valve above the damper is more likely the problem.
